All the timber we use is either reclaimed from old homes and factories, or sustainably-forested with minimal environmental impact.
We love and respect where we live as much as the next person, and do our best to ensure all our practices are as earth-friendly as possible.
Due to the nature of timber as an organic material, timber tone, feature and grain may vary from piece to piece.
All our custom timber furniture pieces are proudly designed and made in Melbourne. Our workshop is in the beautiful bayside suburb, Mordialloc. Feel free to ask us about our processes or even to take a peek at the workshop.
You are very welcome to visit our showroom to view work and timber samples. We are open by appointment only, click on this link to book in.
Absolutely. More details about our delivery and freight options in and outside of Melbourne can be found here. We are proud to offer flat rate freight to metro Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
To make it easier for freight and access to our home, some of our pieces may come to you flat packed. No fear, our timber furniture is easy to put together, usually with a standard ratchet or allen key.
If assistance with assembly is required, we can organise to send one of our friendly staff over to help assemble for an additional fee (Melbourne only)
*Please note that at this stage, we are unable to ship our mirrors and shaving cabinets interstate
Our production lead times fluctuate depending on time of year and how busy we are, so check back on this space to see the latest.
At this stage, our lead time is around 6-10 weeks.
Please let us know if you need your order in sooner than the lead time quoted above, and we’ll see what we can do. A 25% rush fee may be incurred.
If you are still working on final measurements with your architect or builder and your deadline is looming, we suggest leaving a deposit first to secure your place in our production line while we work to firm up the details of your order.
We accept payment by bank transfer and credit cards. Please note that credit card payments will incur a 3% surcharge which is unfortunately out of our control.
Our payment terms are 50% on commencement and 50% on completion. You will receive an email and the balance 50% invoice as your furniture is about a week off completion. The balance invoice is due prior to pick-up or delivery.
We pride ourselves in using the highest grade timber and techniques to will ensure a lifetime of use. We offer an eight year structural warranty on all our furniture pieces. The longevity of the finish is dependent on it’s treatment and environment, so while we have very very few issues, and our finish stands up very well to moist areas, we can’t offer a warranty on the surface finish. That said, we can assist if you need advice on re-finishing or rejuvenating your furniture.
To make sure your furniture remains in as good a nick as when it left our workshop, refer to our care information here.
As our products are made-to-order, we are unfortunately unable to provide a return or refund for your order once the deposit invoice has been paid for, so we will work closely with you to ensure all the necessary specifications are captured and supplied in writing (via email and/or reflected in your invoice) to avoid any miscommunication. Any errors by us will of course be rectified in a timely manner. Read more about our returns & refunds policy here.
Yes you can! We work with a range of different timbers that you can find here. Availability and price may vary.
Our solid timber furniture is finished with a natural hard wax oil for a clean, satin-matt finish. This finish is extremely tough and hard-wearing; water-repellent and dirt-resistant. It is also very reparable, which might come handy over years of use.
The finish we use is natural and based on vegetable oils and waxes so you can be sure that our dining tables are food-safe and non-toxic. Read more here.
While the finish is durable enough to last years, we do recommend proper care for all our solid timber furniture pieces.
Exposure to sunlight may alter the patina of your furniture over time, so we recommend avoiding direct exposure. Try not to drag unglazed ceramics, or sharp objects on the face of your furniture, and the rule of thumb for heat is that if it's too hot to touch, you should use a trivet. Read more here.
We also stock a liquid wax cleaner spray made up of the the same base ingredients to refresh the original finish.
We work hard to ensure that our products are of optimum quality, inside and out. All our hardware has been extensively stress tested in-house to ensure longevity.

Feel free to contact us if you have further questions about the hardware we use.
Timber is an organic material and will naturally need a little bit more care than, say, a stone bench top. However, our sealing and finishing processes have been thoroughly stress tested to ensure stability and longevity. See basic care notes above or read more about our finish here.
Still not convinced? We also offer a stone top option with our timber vanities! Get in touch if you had more questions about this.
