Both styles are available across our vanity range. Floating vanities create a cleaner sightline and make a smaller bathroom feel larger; freestanding vanities offer more storage and a warmer, more traditional look.

What timber species are your bathroom vanities available in?
We make our bathroom vanities in a range of timbers to suit your style and specificaitons. These include:
- American Oak is our most popular vanity timber - warm honey tones, excellent stability, and takes moisture-resistant oil finishes exceptionally well.
- Walnut is naturally denser and suited to contemporary or mid-century bathrooms. Its rich, dark grain is distinctive and works particularly well as a feature piece.
- Tasmanian Oak is a lighter-coloured hardwood that suits coastal, Scandi, and modern bathroom styles.
Our timbers are FSC-certified and finished with a penetrating oil specifically formulated for bathroom use.
Do you make custom-sized bathroom vanities?
Absolutely! Customisations are a standard part of what we do. We will build to your exact specifications: width, depth, or if you'd like to supply your own stone top. Whether your bathroom calls for a compact 750mm single or a 1,500mm double-basin configuration, we work to the millimetre. Send us your requirements and we'll provide a quote within two business days.
What's the difference between a floating and freestanding vanity?
A floating (wall-hung) vanity is fixed to the wall. It creates a clean, contemporary sightline, makes cleaning easier, and can make a smaller bathroom feel more open. It does require adequate wall structure to support the fixing.
A freestanding vanity sits on legs or a plinth and rests on the floor. It typically offers more storage space, a warmer look, and easier installation - particularly useful in older bathrooms where the wall structure is uncertain.
Both styles are available across our vanity range, and both can be made to custom dimensions. If you're unsure which is right for your bathroom, we're happy to talk it through.
Do your vanities come with a stone top?
We do offer a standard timber or crystalline silica-free mineral white stone top as an option. We can also supply the vanity with no top, if you preferred to supply your own benchtop - helpful if you were working with a stonemason to specify your preferred stone. We're happy to recommend basin styles and stone options that suit each vanity profile; just mention it when you enquire.
Is solid timber suitable for a bathroom environment?
Yes, when it is finished sufficiently and maintained appropriately. Solid timber has been used in bathrooms for generations. The key factors are using a hardwood species with appropriate density, applying a quality moisture-resistant finish, and ensuring the bathroom has adequate ventilation. We select our vanity timbers specifically for bathroom use and apply a penetrating oil that protects the wood without sitting on the surface and eventually peeling. Our 10-year structural warranty covers the joinery and construction of every piece we build.
Do you deliver bathroom vanities to Sydney and other states?
Yes. We deliver from our Mordialloc workshop to Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast and beyond. Standard delivery to Sydney metro is a flat rate of $250.
