Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Initial Setup

  • Lean the headboard against the wall for support
  • Position the rails and base board within easy reach
  • Have your 5mm allen key ready

Step 2: Attach the First Rail to Headboard

  • Work on one rail at a time
  • Have one person work on the brackets, while the other holds the rail in position, roughly perpendicular to the headboard.
  • Connect bracket and install one bolt finger-tight (snug but not fully tightened)

Step 3: Connect First Rail to Base Board

  • The person holding the rail can now lower the rail to roughly level position, while the other gets the baseboard into position.
  • Tip: If the fit is tight, gently tap the base board with your palm to close any gaps
  • Install one bolt finger-tight
  • The bed frame will now stand independently

Step 4: Install the Second Rail

  • Both people lift the second rail, each holding one end
  • Work together to align and lock both brackets into place
  • Install one bolt finger-tight at each connection point (headboard and baseboard)

Step 5: Secure All Connections

  • Important: Thread all remaining bolts partially before tightening any completely
  • This prevents binding if one bolt is overtightened first
  • Once all bolts are started, tighten firmly but avoid stripping threads

Step 6: Final Assembly

  • Install the centre support beam
  • Place slats evenly across the frame
  • Add your mattress
